Before you flex.
What does True Rank mean?
A normalized estimate from the numbers you enter. It is not an official rank, verified account record, hidden MMR or a complete skill rating.
Do Bronze losses count?
Yes. Every win adds one star and every loss subtracts one star in every tier, including Bronze. No bonus stars or star protection are applied.
How is the score calculated?
Starting score + wins − losses = final score. Estimated wins are rounded from matches × win rate ÷ 100; losses equal matches minus wins. Only the final displayed score is floored at zero. Negative net stars remain visible.
Why is there no rank range?
Protection has been removed. The record produces a single score regardless of match order. The final-game assumption determines the label at a shared division boundary.
How is the final game assumed?
If the calculated record contains at least one win, the final game is assumed to be a win. If it contains zero wins, it is treated as a loss. This applies to both input methods, even when a W/L list ends in L. With no matches, the starting rank is unchanged.
What happens at a division boundary?
With an assumed final win, a boundary displays the lower division at full stars. With zero wins, it displays the higher division at zero stars. For example, score 9 is Bronze I, 3 stars after an assumed win, or Silver III, 0 stars after a loss.
What if a positive win rate rounds to zero wins?
The rule uses the calculated whole-number win count. If rounding produces zero wins, the final game is treated as a loss, even if the entered percentage is slightly above zero.
Does the W/L list use the actual last entry?
No. The list is used to count wins and losses. The same final-win assumption applies whenever the list contains at least one W. Reordering the entries does not change the result.
Can I start with a full-star division?
Yes. Bronze and Silver allow 0–3 stars; Gold and Platinum 0–4; Diamond and Master 0–5. With zero matches, your selected division and stars are retained exactly.
How do Grandmaster stars work?
Use total GM stars: Grandmaster 0–24, Mythic 25–49, Epic 50–99, Legend 100+. The entry boundary at score 100 displays Master I, 5 after an assumed win or Grandmaster, 0 after a loss. Higher GM title thresholds remain based on total GM stars.
What happens below the lowest rank?
All losses are counted. If the final score is negative, the displayed result is Bronze III, 0 stars. The calculator does not erase losses or repeatedly floor the score after each match.
Does the displayed in-game rank change my result?
No. It is optional comparison information shown in the popup and downloaded card. The starting rank, record and model determine the calculated rank.
Which starting rank should I enter?
Use the rank at the start of the period you are calculating and matches from that same period. Current-season reset lookup remains disabled until the relevant table and starting stars are verified.
Can I share my result?
Yes. Download a card, share it or copy the result link. Links omit nicknames and the optional comparison rank. Long W/L lists share the calculator page without reproducing the list. Older model links load their inputs with a notice that the revised model must be used.
