Model hok-normalized-v2
One score. Every loss counts.
Every win adds one star. Every loss subtracts one star in every tier, including Bronze. Bonus stars and protection are excluded. No promotion matches are added.
Calculation
Estimated wins = round(matches × win rate / 100). Losses = matches minus wins. Final raw score = starting score + wins − losses. Displayed score = max(0, raw score). The floor is applied once at the end, so every loss remains counted.
Final-game assumption
At least one calculated win means the final game is assumed to be a win. Zero calculated wins means it is treated as a loss. For no matches, the exact starting selection is preserved. This rule also applies to the W/L input list; actual entry order is not used to determine the label.
Shared boundaries
At a division boundary, an assumed win displays the lower division at full stars; a loss displays the higher division at zero. Starting Silver III, 1 with 3 matches at 33.33% gives 1 win, 2 losses and score 9: Bronze I, 3 stars. With one match at 0%, the same score displays Silver III, 0.
Score 100 is Master I, 5 after an assumed win or Grandmaster, 0 after a loss. Above that, total GM stars = score − 100. Mythic begins at 25, Epic at 50 and Legend at 100 GM stars.
Rank ladder
Full-star inputs are allowed. These adjacent boundary states share a score; their labels follow the final-game assumption.

Match lists
W/L lists count outcomes. They use the same score and display rule as summary inputs. Reordering W and L does not change the result. No Bronze exceptions, protected losses or rank ranges remain.
Scope
This is a project-defined normalized model, not a claim about the live game's progression or a measure of player skill. Use the actual starting rank for your chosen period. Historical reset data is not automatically applied. Model revised 20 September 2026.
